Fees, Cancellations, and Refunds

Prepare to Change Counseling provides professional psychological and related services rather than retail products. Fees for services are generally due at the time services are provided unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Payments for services that have already been provided are generally non-refundable. If a payment was made in error, was duplicated, or relates to a service that was not provided, please contact us so that we can review the circumstances and make any appropriate correction or refund.

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, may be subject to the full session fee. Cancellation requirements, fees, and other financial policies applicable to an individual client may also be addressed in the client’s informed consent, service agreement, or other practice documents.

Fees or deposits associated with psychological evaluations, assessments, reports, consultations, or other specialized professional services may be subject to separate written agreements. Any refund or cancellation terms contained in those agreements will govern those services.
